Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh finally got their happy ending on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way.

During the season 3 finale of the TLC hit on Sunday, Jenny, 63, and Sumit, 33, wed in an intimate Hindu-style ceremony. The old couple’s marriage comes almost 10 years after they met online.

The episode started with Sumit telling Jenny his reasoning to put the brakes on their marriage application. But Sumit eventually reversed his initial decision.

“My fear is what gives us trouble. And I feel like you might feel insecure right now and I don’t want to, because if you start to feel insecure, it means you lose hope, you lose faith in me. lose,” Sumit said to Jenny. . “And I can’t afford that, because that’s the beginning of the relationship going in the wrong direction. I don’t want to spoil the relationship, I don’t want to spoil the love we have with each other.”

“I will marry you because I want to. I want to be with you, I don’t want to lose you,” he continued. “I want to continue to experience that love. … I’m ready, you are ready, we are both ready and that’s good.”

But the wedding had to happen quickly due to the expiration of Jenny’s visa. Because of the quick turnaround, they neglected to inform Sumit’s parents of their intentions, assuming they would try to stop the marriage.

Sumit admitted he was “a little nervous” about leaving his parents in the dark about the wedding.

“I know once they find out, they’re going to be mad because I didn’t tell.” [sic] that I’m getting married,” Sumit said to Jenny [it’s] It will take a while, but we will be back as a happy good family.”

In a confessional, Jenny spoke about the couple’s roller coaster relationship over the years.

“So many things have happened in our relationship to end our marriage and I never thought it would happen,” she said. “But we’re finally here, and I’m so happy and I’m so excited.”

Jenny also celebrated the relationship milestone by posting a crazy photo of the couple on Instagram. “We’re married,” she wrote alongside a series of emojis.

Jenny and Sumit weren’t the only couple to get married on Sunday’s final episode. In the season finale, Alina and Steven Johnston, as well as Kenneth Niedermeier and Armando Rubio, exchanged their vows. And although Corey Rathgeber and Evelin Villegas were already married, they decided to hold a bigger ceremony to celebrate their union with loved ones.
