Al B. Sure! shared shocking news with his fans last night about the medical problems that fellow 1980s R&B singer Christopher Williams is said to suffer from.
The singer, real name Albert Joseph Brown III, shared via social media that Williams is currently in a coma, for unknown medical reasons.
Al warned fans of his relative’s condition with a message from the two together in happier times. “Please pray for my prettier twin brother in coma,” he wrote.
Although they call each other brothers, Al B. Sure and Williams are actually cousins. Williams has released four studio albums since his 1989 debut. He is the cousin of legendary jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald and father of three children, one of whom he shares with actress Stacey Dash.
Williams had a number of songs high on the US R&B charts in the late 1980s and early 1990s, including hits like “Talk to Myself,” “I’m Dreamin’,” “Promises, Promises,” and “Every Little Thing You Do.” “
Details of Williams’ condition, whereabouts or the cause of his sudden medical problem are currently scarce, leaving fans with little to do beyond Al B. Sure’s initial call to prayer and good wishes for the recovery of his beloved cousin. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
