Calvin Bassey is delighted to return home to Nigeria ahead of his first appearance with the three-time African champions, Completesports.com reports.
The left-back was named to the Nigeria squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup double-qualifying match against the Central African Republic last week by head coach Gernot Rohr.

Bassey arrived at the team’s Eko Hotel camp on Monday along with his Rangers teammates Joe Aribo and Leon Balogun.
“Hello Nigerians, I am glad to be back home,” said the former Leicester City defender in a short video posted on the Nigerian Football Federation Facebook page.
The 21-year-old, born in Italy, has made seven appearances for Rangers in all competitions this season with two goals to his name.
