FIFA 22 has many different game modes, but perhaps the most social among them is Pro Clubs.
From two players up to the entire XI, you and your teammates can control an individual player on the court, work together as a team, to get more of a real gaming experience.
If you find that your side is leaking targets at the back, or just need the little adjustment to take you to the next level, we have covered you with the best formations you can use in FIFA 22 Pro clubs.
Need a ‘Anyone’?
One of the big decisions you have to make when playing Pro Clubs is whether anyone on your team should play the “Anyone” role.
This means that the person will have control over all the other players on the site who are not controlled by other people.
This is a personal preference, but we would advise against playing ‘Anyone’.
The bottoms are very good defensively and can put passes well together – without constant ball-calling interference – whereas if you choose to play with the computer-generated players, you may find them clumsy and cumbersome.
Our choice would be to let the bots worry about the defensive side of the game, you and your teammates focus on being creative and scoring goals.
But if you do not agree with us, you can learn some tips on how to play as ‘Anyone’ in the video below.
4-1-2-1-2 (Narrow) is a great option to use if you are on the lower end of human users.
Three people can play as the strikers and CAM, ready to throw themselves over and take the chances they get.
The great thing about this formation is that with more human players, you can become even more efficient, with the tight four-man midfield dominating ball possession with tiki-taka football.
You will feel like using a pass game with this formation and you may be surprised to see how easily bots can ping the ball around in the build – it’s like seeing the old Barcelona!

Any variation of five at the back can be a complete game-changer in Pro Clubs.
With a packed defense, the opposition will have a very hard time breaking down, especially with the blocking ability that bots have.
If your opponent can not score, then you have a better chance of winning, just make sure to strike quickly on the counter-attack.
Again, you will want to control the forward players as a priority, but having human control over the CMs and wing-backs will let you play the long ball forward to catch teams out if they overcommit.
4-3-3 is one of the strongest formations in real life, and this year it has been brilliant in all FIFA 22 game modes.
This works especially well if you play the variation with a CAM, which allows you to get another attacker involved.
It may seem a bit old school, but the tactic for this style is to get it to the wide players, and then run cross to the men in the middle.
Play with pace forward and you are sure to get in behind the defense, then find a light ball across the field and knock it into the net.
