Bella Hadid shares selfies of herself crying on social media

Bella Hadid revealed that she has cried almost “every day” and “every night” for the past few years.

The supermodel posted several photos of herself in tears on Tuesday, reminding her followers that social media is not real life.

“For anyone who is having a hard time, please remember that. Sometimes all you need to know is that you’re not alone,” she wrote in a lengthy caption. “So from me to you, you’re not alone. I love you , I see you and I hear you.”

The 25-year-old went on to tell fans that mental health and chemical imbalance are not “linear”, comparing it to a roller coaster with “ups and downs” and “left to right”.

“There is always light at the end of the tunnel and the roller coaster always comes to a complete stop at some point…[but] it will get better,” she continued.

Hadid also wrote that she’s had “enough breakdowns and burnouts” to know that “if you work hard enough on yourself, spend time alone to understand your traumas, triggers, joys, and routine, you’ll always be able to to understand or learn more about your own pain and how to deal with it, that is all you can ask of yourself.”

The star ended her message by thanking her fans for listening to her tell her truth.

In January, Hadid – who has been open about struggling with major depression and anxiety since she was a teenager – took a short break from social media to focus on her mental health.
