Billie Eilish and the Earl Sing ‘Happier Than Ever’ on ‘Sesame Street’

Billie Eilish stopped by Sesame Street and played a lovely version of her hit single “Happier Than Ever” next to the count.

In an appropriate lyrical change, Eilish sings “Come on, let’s count to two” as the songs appear on screen next to her and the vampire doll.

Eilish is one of several celebrity guests to appear or appear in the upcoming iteration of the series, which will also feature fellow musicians Anderson .Paak, Kacey Musgraves and Jon Batiste, actress Keke Palmer, poet Amanda Gorman and tennis player Naomi Osaka.

USA today confirmed that Eilish’s appearance on the show would feature the pop star sharing a scene with sesame street number-loving vampire. Anderson .Paak, meanwhile, will perform a song written for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day episode of the show.

Sesame Street has welcomed many other artists to the area in recent years. Norah Jones was a previous guest, while Maggie Rogers got his residents ready for bed last November with a song titled “It’s Nighttime.” Other musical guests included Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and Chance the Rapper.

Last weekend, Eilish played the part of Sally in a nightmare before christmas live-to-movie concert that took place at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles. Eilish performed “Sally’s Song” and a duet with Danny Elfman’s character Jack Skellington, “Simply Meant To Be”.

Along with the likes of Justin Bieber, Olivia Rodrigo and Demi LovatoBillie Eilish was also recently announced among the nominees for the People’s Choice Awards 2021. With three nominations, Eilish has been nominated for both Female Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for Happier than ever and Pop Special of the Year for her documentary The world is a little blurry.

Olivia Rodrigo also garnered a number of nominations, including Best New Artist and Female Artist of the Year, Song and Music Video of the Year for “Good 4 U” and Album of the Year for Pickles.

The People’s Choice ceremony will be broadcast on NBC and E! on December 7 at 9 p.m. ET. from Santa Monica, the Barker Hangar in California.
