Call Of Duty: Vanguard Best LMG

Are you looking for the best LMG in Call Of Duty: Vanguard? LMGs are heavy weapons that tend to give a gloomy blow, making them perfect for holding angles down and suppressing enemies. But they usually come with a few negatives that make them difficult to use in Call Of Duty’s hectic multiplayer, such as poor handling speeds and reload times. Fortunately, we’re here to tell you which LMG is the best in Call Of Duty: Vanguard and which ones you should avoid. As always, this list will definitely change as we approach Vanguard season 1 and later, so expect frequent updates that can change the order significantly.

Best LMG in Call Of Duty: Vanguard

The best LMG in Call Of Duty: Vanguard is MG42. It has an extremely high shooting speed that you can use to melt the enemy’s team in seconds. You would expect this to cause drastic recoil, but it’s actually quite controllable, especially when doing the perfect MG42 discharge. The MG42 is available in level 1, which means you can jump in and start unlocking accessories right away.

Here is our Call of Duty: Vanguard LMG list:

MG42 – Best LMG

Call Of Duty: Vanguard seems to give away many of the best level 1 weapons, including the MG42. It boasts a very impressive time-to-kill thanks to its high shooting speed, making it the best LMG to clear enemy teams and conquer positions. Of course, its bulky size and shape make movement difficult, but it’s a problem with the entire LMG class, rather than a weakness specific to the MG42. Either way, the impressive shooting speed makes it easy to roam the map and quickly blow through enemies. Just do not expect to be able to sprint around corners and shoot teams down, for the MG42 is certainly not smart.

Type 11

Type 11 has the worst iron sights in Call Of Duty: Vanguard, and maybe even in Call Of Duty’s history. Seriously, they are inconceivable. When aiming, Type 11 shifts to the left side of the screen, which after over a decade of playing Call Of Duty was extremely jarring. That may be enough to deter most players, but with the right attachments, the Type 11 can turn into a formidable weapon. It gets much more accurate and boasts an impressive stopping power that will help you tear through the landscape and smash the enemy’s teams. This one is worth sticking to – just make sure to use a better sight.

Although the DP27 can still kill enemies very quickly, it does not come close to the MG42 or Type 11. It is much harder to control, and once you have a loadout in place to control some of the recoil, the fire rate is still quite low. In the end, it seems that you will have to choose to correct either the horizontal or vertical recoil with your setup, as an improvement in one of these statistics means that you will mostly have to ignore it other. After a bit of nonsense, we could not find a way to control the DP27’s kick completely, so you will like it when you face a meeting, making it one of the worst LMGs in Vanguard.

Bren LMG on the gunsmith preview screen in Call Of Duty: Vanguard. Dark background with fiery red hue in the lower left corner.

I can not even begin to express the disappointment I felt after unlocking Bren at level 53. All of this works for the worst LMG, and perhaps even one of the worst weapons in general, in Call Of Duty: Vanguard. It has high damage, which makes Bren worth considering for about a millisecond, and then you will experience the recoil. Oh, the recoil. Even after putting it out to maximize accuracy and control, you will spend most of your time staring into the sky with Bren. Recoil control can be sacrificed for a high firing rate on some cannons, but Bren somehow has none of the parts, making it extremely dull.
