Unsatisfied with sneaking into the scenes of Red Notice, Game of Thrones, Yesterday and many other cinematic projects, Framlingham-born ginger singer Edward Christopher Sheeran now has his view on Pokemon Go. Yes really.
Ed Sheeran HQ Twitter account revealed in a vague tweet that there would be some sort of crossover between the internationally acclaimed megastar and the Pokemon Go mobile game, and it’s ready to launch at some point soon. https://youtu.be/X2KHZtmcrVA
After the first tweet, Pokemon Go’s official account retweeted the message with the eyes emoji – but no further details.
Are we going to see avatar objects that make you look like the red-haired musician? Or will we get some of his mind-numbing brand of harmless pop as a soundtrack to our catch and hatch? Shall we get another Pikachu wearing a hat, but with a shock of ginger hair? Who knows.
We’ve seen Pokemon Go collaborate with clothing brands before to bring exclusive items to your avatar, so maybe that has something to do with it. Alternatively, could there be some sort of Sheeran-based takeover in the gaming world? Or maybe you’ll have to fight a massive version of Ed in a raid, and if you win, you can shut him up for five minutes. The possibilities are endless.
If you’re eager to get as much out of the game as possible before it’s permanently tainted by the arrival of pop’s most insidious british, whatever form it takes, you might want to check out all the working Pokémon GO codes for November 2021
