Euro stars from Liberia arrive in Morocco for Super Eagles Clash

13 of the 16 players invited by coach Peter Butler for the Liberia World Cup Qualifiers with Nigeria and CAR have arrived in Morocco.

The players landed in Casablanca on Tuesday night and joined their teammates early this morning in Tangier, where the Lone Stars are camping.

The first to arrive are Captain Allen Njie of Aarau FC, midfielder Marcus Macaulay, Justin Salmon of Degerfor, Abu Kamara of Makedinoja, CS Mioveni player Moussa Sanoh, forward Van-Dave Harmon of KF Laci, midfielder Seth Hellberg from IK Brage, defender Mark Pabai from PEC Zwolle, Seth Hellberg from IK Brage and goalkeeper Boison Wynney de Souza from Romanian team Somesul Dej.

In the last hours, Oscar Dorley, Mark Pabai, Justin Salmon, Marcus Macaulay and Abu Kamara have arrived in Morocco and have completed their COVID-19 test which is a requirement to compete in the Qatar 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.

Coach Peter Butler has invited 22 players for days 5 and 6 of the Qatar 2022 World Cup Qualifiers against Nigeria and CAR at Stade Ibn Batouta Tangier, Morocco.

Group C Qualifiers are scheduled for November 13 and 16 respectively. At the start of the game, Lone Star is in fourth place, 6 points behind the leaders of the Super Eagles group and one less than the Wild Beasts in third place.
