Ex-Super Falcons regroup to support their teammate

Onitsha, Anambra State, will come to life this month with the beautiful game of American football when the former Super Falcons come together to support one of their own, coach Maureen Mmadu.

In a weeklong soccer party in Onitsha, Anambra state, the former Super Falcons will play three games with three Onitsha All Stars Football Clubs.

The three games involving All Stars Onitsha, All Stars Fegge and All Stars 33 will be played on Sunday 24, Wednesday 27 and Friday 29 October respectively.

While the Chuba Ikpeazu Stadium will host two of the matches on the 24th and 29th, the match on the 27th will be played at the Fegge Stadium.

Soccer bazzar is organized by Maureen Mmadu Kiddies Football Camp to increase awareness and support for women’s soccer.

The Maureen Madu Kiddies are preparing for a trip to Denmark where they have been invited to participate in the DANA Cup Competition in the first quarter of 2022

Maureen Madu was born in Onitsha where she began her career with Ado Babes.

She intends to give back to society by discovering, guiding and guiding talented young women to stardom.
