Former Husky guard among 18 indicted in NBA health care scandal

By Dan Raley, Husky Maven: In a scandal that has rocked the NBA, on Thursday 18 former players were charged in New York with collectively defrauding the league’s $ 2.5 million health and wellness benefit plan, including the former University guard Washington Tony Wroten and Seattle native Terrance Williams, one -time Husky recruiting.

Fifteen of the players were arrested in Washington state and eight others were charged with participating in a scam that involved filing false medical and dental bills.
