Freshman Sleepers To Know For The 2021-22 College Basketball Season

We’re just days away from the start of the 2021-22 college basketball season. Over the past seven months, the entire landscape has changed with the transfer portal and the changes to NIL, retaining many of the top prospects in the NCAA.

While the off-season headlines are dominated by the 1,700+ transfers and guys like Chet Holmgren, Paolo Banchero, Jalen Duren and Emoni Bates with the spotlight on the newcomers, many prospects are flying under the radar towards the season.

Last year it was guys like Jaden Ivey, Moses Moody and Isaiah Jackson who flew under the radar into the season and became big names in March.

Heading into this season, a handful of prospects are flying under the radar and could not only become household names by the end of the season, but could also find themselves first round draft picks in the 2022 or 2023 NBA Draft.

Let’s go there. Note: Rankings are through 247Sports.
