The 26-year-old star was spotted in the Big Apple with sister Bella Hadid on Monday, November 22. Gigi wore a red Versace jumpsuit with a black turtleneck that peeked out, according to photos published by page six on Wednesday 24 Nov.

The California native, who shares 14-month-old daughter Khai with Malik, 28, wore a black face covering, matching black beanie and boots as she got into an SUV. Gigi also debuted long, blonde hair for days after flaunting auburn locks and dramatic bangs via Instagram.

Bella, for her part, was seen wearing a black blazer, pants and pink T-shirt with a fuzzy brown hat as she followed her big sister to the vehicle on Monday.

Gigi has kept a low profile in November, posting only twice on social media promoting various business ventures, in the wake of her family’s drama with Malik — and their split.

The One Direction singer reportedly got into a physical altercation with Gigi’s mother, Yolanda Hadidi, in Sept. The incident made headlines the following month when a report surfaced that Malik had “beaten” the former. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 57, at his Pennsylvania home.

Malik released a statement via Twitter in October, hinting that Yolanda had “leaked” the story to the press amid his efforts to “create a safe and private space” for his daughter to grow up in.

“In an effort to protect that space from her, I agreed not to dispute any claims arising out of an argument I had with a relative of my partner who came into our home while my partner was away several weeks ago,” he wrote. the British crooner at the time. “This was and should still be a private affair, but it seems there is division and despite my best efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow me to guide my daughter in the way she deserves.”

The “Pillowtalk” musician went on to tell TMZ that he “adamantly” denied hitting Yolanda and hoped she would “reconsider her false accusations”.

While the Dutchman has not yet spoken publicly about the alleged incident, a spokesperson for Gigi released a statement in October asking for “privacy” as she “is focused solely on the best for Khai”.

The family members did not immediately respond to: Us Weekly request for comments on the situation, but U.S confirmed at the time that Gigi and Malik had “quietly separated” after reconnecting in January 2020.

The duo welcomed their daughter in September 2020, an exclusive source has told U.S in October that Malik is still “very involved in Khai’s life”. The insider added that even though the couple had “been in trouble for a while” before breaking up, they still “love each other very much.”

In October, Malik was charged with four offenses of harassment related to the Yolanda incident, which he did not object to, according to court documents obtained by U.S.

The “Dusk Till Dawn” singer was fined, required to complete an anger management course and a domestic violence program, and given 90 days probation on each of the four charges. He was also ordered to stay away from Yolanda and the guard on the property during the incident.

Malik’s probationary period can be terminated by the judge if he meets all those conditions within six months.

In the meantime, a source has told exclusively U.S in November that Gigi “met with new lawyers to help with custody issues” after the split.
