Green shirts to depart for the United Arab Emirates by charter plane on October 15

Lahore: The men’s national cricket team will depart for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on October 15 to participate in the ICC T20 World Cup, reported ARY Sports.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the team will depart from Lahore on a chartered flight to participate in the competition.

Meanwhile, players participating in the T20 National Cup will move from one bubble to another after the conclusion of the tournament. The final of the T20 National Cup will be played on October 13.

On the other hand, the sports staff will meet in Lahore on October 8 and undergo mandatory quarantine for seven days at a local hotel.

Bowling consultant Vernon Philander will arrive in Lahore on October 7, while hitting consultant Matthew Hayden will join the national team in the United Arab Emirates.

The mega event will begin from October 17 with qualifiers, while the Super 12 will begin from October 23.

Pakistan will begin its campaign against India on October 24 in Dubai. They will play two preparation matches on October 18 and 20 against the West Indies and South Africa, respectively.
