HILARIA Baldwin and husband Alec were detained by police in the Hamptons days after the FBI seized the Rust star’s phone.
East Hamptons police appeared to stop Hilaria on the side of the road.
Alec, 63, was seen waiting in the car as Hilaria, 37, stepped outside to speak to the officer.
The American yoga instructor seemed calm as she talked to the officer.
She was pictured wearing a long coat as the couple retired to their Hamptons home after news broke Thursday that the FBI had seized Alec’s phone.
Hilaria has previously stated that Alec has “suffered from PTSD” from the start of the Rust incident.
It appears that after the police arrested them, Alec, masked, got out of the car to get coffee and Hilaria stayed inside.
No details about the traffic incident have been disclosed to The Sun at this time.
On Thursday, Alec’s phone was “searched by authorities”.
The Rust star’s phone was seized by the FBI in the wake of Halyna Hutchins’ tragic death on the film set.
Reuters reported that a “search warrant had been issued for Alec Baldwin’s phone, according to the Santa Fe, New Mexico court, where Rust was filmed.”
According to the legal document, Alec’s phone was requested “as part of the investigation into the death of Halyna Hutchins.”
The doc continued: “The seizure and search of a cell phone believed to be an Apple iPhone because conversations between Affiant and Alec Baldwin were conducted via ‘iMessages’.
“The phone belongs to Alec Baldwin and is believed to be in his possession.”
The fatal shooting occurred in Alec’s film Rust in October.
When the gag gun went off, the actor hit 42-year-old Halyna and 48-year-old Joel Souza.
As a result, Haylna died while Joel was in critical condition.
Haylna was known as a cinematographer and was the director of photography for the new film, while Souza was the director.
“According to investigators, it appears that the scene filmed involved the use of a prop fire weapon as it was unloaded. Detectives are investigating how and what type of projectile was fired,” the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement at the time.
“One victim of the shooting, a 42-year-old woman, was helicoptered to the University of New Mexico Hospital. The sheriff’s office confirms she succumbed to her injuries.”
It was later determined that the gun had live ammunition.
‘RESTORE YOUR VOICE’
Hilaria claimed the 30 Rock actor “suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder” and slammed “cruel trolls” after shooting on the set of Rust.
Hilaria asked her followers an emotional question in a series of Instagram Stories.
She captioned her post, “Do you have people who create drama in your life?”
Alec’s wife explained the “difference between telling a new story and creating a new story.
“We often have people making stories about us.”
Saying her husband “suffers from PTSD,” she added, “It’s not just because of what happened recently, but he’s been suffering for a very, very long time. And these people know this.”
Hilaria explained that trolls want to “poke” him and “upset him” and “create news about this.”
The founder of Yoga Vida added that this was not a ‘famous thing’, but an ‘always something’.
She asked her followers to “reclaim” their voices and remind themselves that they may “speak your truth.”
Hilaria wrote: “They want to take advantage of you.”
She concluded that the new year of 2022 would be “we speak again”.
The couple share daughter Carmen Gabriela, eight, sons Rafael, six, Leonardo, five, Romeo, three, and Edu, one, and daughter Maria, eight months.
In early December, Alec spoke to George Stephanopoulos during ABC 20/20 about the set shooting in Rust.
He described Halyna as “the most beautiful woman, one of the most beautiful women I have ever worked with and one of the most professional in terms of her behavior.”
After meeting Halyna’s husband and her 9-year-old son after the tragic incident, Alec said he “wouldn’t know how to categorize the emotional seriousness of their conversation”.
On the tragic inside, the Glengarry Glenn Ross star claimed he didn’t understand how there could have been a live bullet in the gun.
He added: “Someone put a live bullet in a gun, a bullet that wasn’t even supposed to be on the property.”
Alec continued, “I don’t know how that bullet got in that gun, but I’m all for doing something that will take us to a place where this is less likely to happen.”
However, viewers accused Alec of “acting” and his alleged performance did not fit well with this.
Another viewer claimed, “This is what acting and ‘crocodile tears’ look like.”
A third viewer joked that the Beetlejuice actor was supposedly “trying to perform a second miracle”.
