Not long after the Tip-Off Tournament, it was very clear that Hood is Glitchy not the guy to mess with.
With the clock ending in a close first game against Kings Guard Gaming, Hood is Glitchy scored 8 straight points to tie the game at 73 apiece. After you’ve scored all of those points, get the ball onto the court with about 10 seconds to go. Using himself as a decoy, he dribbled down the lane and kicked Sick x 973 for the triple dagger that led to the victory.
In the second game against Bucks Gaming, Hood defended himself really well. Every time he was driving down the lane, someone would come up and foul him to avoid the easy bucket. He made and missed a few well-contested shots, but the Bucks’ defense was ultimately effective, allowing them to make a last-second comeback to force overtime. Hood had a chance to tie in the final second of shooting, but he just didn’t go down.
In the last Cavs game of the day, believe it or not, he took it to an even higher level. It was a total math festival. After missing his first shot, he missed just one more of the game on 19/21 shots from the field and had 46 of the Cavs Legion GC’s 86 total points. It was simply UNSAFE with the dribble-drive blowby movements.
Hood has a very patient style of play and takes his time dribbling purposefully to get to his places. By “stains” I mean “the edge”. His back and forth movement actually alludes to the phrase “glitchy.” Needless to say, its handle looks good on it.
