It’s a ‘Happy Time’ Amid Jennifer Lopez Romance

Everything is coming Ben! Before the premiere of his new movie the last duel, Ben Affleck gushed about how great his life had been lately.

“I am very happy”, the argo director, 49, told Additional on Sunday, October 3, at the premiere of his other new film, The Tender Bar. “It is a very happy time in my life. Life is good.”

In addition to juggling his busy professional schedule, the Oscar winner has made time for Jennifer Lopez, with whom he reunited earlier this year. The duo were first spotted together in April after the “Get Right” singer, 52, split from ex-fiancée Alex Rodriguez. By May, they had completely rekindled their romance.

“It just gets better for J. Lo and Ben,” an insider said Us Weekly last month. “They are so in love and it is only a matter of time before they are officially engaged. They are both all inclusive and want to spend the rest of their lives together. It doesn’t even occur to them that it might not work out in the long run.”

During her performance on Global Citizen Live in September, Hustlers star spoke to fans about why she wanted to play love songs that night. “With love, we can do anything,” she said from the stage in New York City’s Central Park, as Affleck watched backstage. “Love works wonders, believe me. I guess you could say, I don’t know, I’ve got love in my head. Have love on my mind lately, I don’t know what it is.”

Affleck and Lopez originally started dating in 2002 after meeting on the set of the film giglic and got engaged that same year. Days before their planned wedding in September 2003, they called off the wedding and in January 2004 the couple called it quits.

According to an insider, the pair are grateful for the chance to give their romance another chance after all these years. “They feel so blessed to live this fairy tale and will later get engaged – and then get married,” the source told Us last month. “Without any doubt.”

In September, the couple appeared on the red carpet for the first time in 18 years at the Venice premiere of the last duel. “Being on the red carpet was an amazing experience, and they were so proud to shout their love from the rooftops as they did,” an insider said.
