The Kansas City Chiefs, like all teams in the National Football League, have tipped their hand on a few points this season in terms of how they look at specific players on the training team.

Right now, every training team in the league is maxed out at 16 places, a larger amount than usual in the wake of COVID protocols and a team’s need to have players ready to face an unexpected global pandemic. On that team, teams are allowed to protect a few players each week to prevent other teams from grabbing them. This way we can at least see what the team thinks of a handful of guys – or at least which positions are most frustrating.

We looked at several of these prospects to see what the Chiefs could think of, and it looks like these four could be the favorites going forward – or at least the ones that could have the best chance of landing a real opportunity next season. .

If you have not heard much about these players, just know that they are good names to remember in the present. Each of these guys needs their talents in 2022, and given how far the team has gone to retain them, we think the Chiefs will bring them back for another offseason in hopes of seeing them take the plunge at. key places on the list.
