After returning to prime time against Indiana, the Michigan football team will return to an afternoon start time next weekend.
The ninth-ranked Wolverines will play against Penn State on Saturday, November 13 at noon ET, a game that aired on ABC, the Big Ten announced late Saturday.
The game will be played at Beaver Stadium in State College, Pennsylvania, a 106,572-seat venue that hasn’t been kind to Jim Harbaugh’s team in recent years. Michigan has lost its last two games there, both at night, under the lights.

Although Saturday’s game is not scheduled for the evening, Penn State encourages most spectators to wear white (those sitting in sections near the center of the field are asked to wear blue, an attempt to helmet stripe) to enliven the atmosphere .
Michigan posts 29-7 win over Indiana, improves its record to 8-1 and solidifies a top-10 ranking for another week, while Penn State (6-3, 3-3 Big Ten) lost three games slip on Saturday with a 31-14 win over Maryland.
Saturday marks the sixth time this season that Michigan has played in the afternoon time slot.
The kickoff time and a TV designation for Michigan’s game in Maryland next Saturday, November 20, have not yet been announced.
