Gigio Donnarumma returned to San Siro earlier this week and it’s safe to say he didn’t get a warm welcome. Although Italy was playing, the feelings of the AC Milan fans were heard as the goalkeeper was booed a lot.
In response, Donnarumma’s agent Mino Raiola lashed out at the Rossoneri because they did not distance themselves from the whistles and message displayed in Milan. Read his explosive interview here, but it didn’t go down well with the Milan high-ups.
As reported in today’s edition of Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri are outraged by Raiola’s comments. They don’t like the words of the Dutch-Italian agent, as Donnarumma decided to leave.
Milan made a strong offer of €7 million plus bonuses and the No. 99 choice was not to accept it. The reactions of the fans, as the Rossoneri see it, can therefore only be the responsibility of Donnarumma and his agent.
