Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes II and his fiancée Brittany Matthews celebrated their first Christmas with daughter Sterling Skye last Saturday.

The NFL star and fitness coach – both 26 – donated gifts to their 10-month-old princess, including a small black Lamborghini.

“It was amazing, and you can also control it with a small remote,” Patrick told The Drive on 610 Sports Radio on Monday.

‘I think it’s a bad sign for me that she’s already getting a black Lamborghini. Brittany is already putting it in her head. ‘

Mahomes added: ‘She played with literally everything. It was fun to see her do that. ‘

The timing of the holiday worked well for the Texan first-time parents because Sunday’s game was at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri.

“We had that morning to be with the baby and make all the presents and everything,” Patrick said.

‘Sterling, I do not think she understood what Christmas was yet, but she understood that she got a lot of toys.’

Mahomes said Matthews is planning a low-key New Year’s Eve at home and he will ‘try to reach 12-something’.

“These days, it’s a little late for me to be the dad I am now, but I will try to cope with it until the ball falls in New York,” the 6ft3in athlete said.
