Brenda Frese‘s Take
“I love how we competed in the second half. To beat such a great team like NC State 33-29 in the second half, I was very happy about that. first hitting. very, very aggressive. I think it put us on our heels. There’s no question how good NC State is. They’re just such a deep team. To get in here without five players, two who are starters for us, I like the fact, considering what we didn’t have, just the fight we had in the second half. But we talked about it. It lasts a 40 minute game. If we had played like we did in the second “Half would have been a much more competitive game. But all credit goes to NC State. They poured it out for 40 minutes. You have to have that kind of depth to compete with the depth and talent that NC State has.”
