MANILA, Philippines – Lito Adiwang will have a quick turnaround after his last fight as he is set to host UFC veteran Jarred Brooks at ONE Championship on November 26 in Singapore.
Team Lakay is looking to add to their third straight win at Brooks’s expense with their fight scheduled for the ONE: NextGen III main event at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The Philippine strawweight was coming off a unanimous decision win over Hexi Getu on September 24.
Adiwang (13-3) and Brooks were originally scheduled to fight in April this year, but the fight was postponed after the Filipino tested positive for COVID-19.
Brooks (16-2) will appear in his first fight since December 2019 when he defeated Haruo Ochi at Bellator 237.
Brooks, 28, fought four times in the UFC with a 2-2 record in promotion and lost to José Torres in 2018 and former flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo in 2017.
His last fight under Dana White’s company was in September 2018 when he scored a split decision victory over Roberto Sánchez.
Adiwang, meanwhile, lost only once in his last 10 fights suffering a split decision loss to Koha Minowa.
