Players are impressed with Elden Ring’s leaked character traits

One of the most anticipated features in the game

Oh, character creators. Always the first two hours of my replay of a game that has one, they are one of the funniest ways to waste time in games. While some players dedicate themselves to making the most beautiful, lifelike characters they can, others are committed to creating the greatest atrocities that games have ever seen. No matter how you slice it, it’s a bang, which is why fans were happy to get a preview of Elden Ring character traits when it leaked yesterday.

Known for their incredibly detailed customization options, the Soulsborne character traits have been a source of merriment for years and have no real limits to how ridiculous you can make your character look. You can imagine the excitement when the internet learned from the leak that Elden Ring‘s customization system is even more detailed than its predecessors.

Recordings from Elden Ring‘s character traits were leaked by YouTuber ER-SA, who apparently captured the footage from the recent closed network test.

Many of the shooters in the creator do not have labels in the video, which is not surprising as the game is still under development, but the end results are undeniable. Fans have noticed how lifelike the characters look now, with one Twitter user expresses his enthusiasm for “finally being able to make a human instead of a fisherman / skinwalker.” When you see one side by side, it’s hard to deny that FromSoftware’s character creators have come a long way since the last time we got one from them with Dark Souls III in 2016.

This progress basically comes down to graphic fidelity, which is not surprising given how much we have jumped into photorealism in the last two or three years. I do not know about you, but when I finally get my fingers in a PS5, I will be pumped to try the possibilities of this new character creation. Leaks are a disgrace from a developer’s perspective, but at least that means players who get a preview of the character creator are hyping for Elden Ring is at an all-time high.
