PKL 2021: Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 Kicks Off December 22, Bengaluru’s Kanteerava Indoor Stadium Will Host Entire League – The highly anticipated 2021 Pro Kabaddi League season is almost upon us and the organizers have almost finalized the dates for the cash-rich league. PKL season 8 is likely to start on December 22 and Bengaluru’s Kanteerava Indoor Stadium could be the final venue for the entire season.

According to Sportstar, PKL 2021 will take place at the Bengaluru Bulls stadium called Kanteerava Indoor Stadium. Jaipur and Ahmedabad were the other two shortlisted locations. The Kabaddi Pro League is the second most watched sports league in India. This will be the first indoor tournament to be held in the country since the Covid-19 outbreak.

All players will need to be vaccinated and teams will meet in Bengaluru at least 14 days before the start of the season.

  • Pink Panthers of Jaipur – Dehradun – October 16
  • Telugu Titans – Hyderabad – October 7
  • Bengaluru Bulls – Bangalore – October 7

The 2021 PKL was supposed to start in July, but due to the second wave of Covid-19, the organizer brought the league to the end of the year.

In early August, Pradeep Narwal broke all records to become the highest paid athlete in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League. Up Yoddha’s bought the Star Raider for ₹ 1.65 crore. While Iran’s Fazel Atrachalli (U Mumba), Mohammed Esmaeil Nabibakhsh (Bengal Warriors) and Hadi Tajik (Puneri Paltan) remained ahead of the season.
