Sony has released the PlayStation Store charts for October, and the best games last month are just about what you would expect. On the North American chart for PS5, it is Ubisoft’s Far Cry 6 that comes at the top, with FIFA 22 following closely behind. In Europe, the two matches are reversed, with football swimming not surprisingly taking number one. In both regions, Back 4 Blood makes an impressive debut in third place.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is also in the top 10 in both territories; it is fourth in Europe and sixth in the states. On the PS4 game chart, FIFA 22 tops both regions, and Far Cry 6 is in second place. However, Square Enix’s superhero escapade is nowhere to be found on the top sellers of the latest generation platform.
The PSVR chart is again topped by Beat Saber and Job Simulator, while the free-to-play charts, perhaps surprisingly, are led by Konami’s troubled football game, eFootball.
