LAHORE: Wicket-keeper hitter Mohammad Rizwan doesn’t care about the role in the national team, he just wants to contribute where and when needed.
While responding to a reporter in a virtual conference call, Rizwan said he is ready to move his batting number if the team requires it.
“I am ready to move wherever the team wants. I’m even ready to play off course, fast pitcher, or just as a fielder. I always want to contribute to the team when and where it’s needed, ”Rizwan said when asked about the starters’ downfall because of him.
While talking about playing the first ICC event for Pakistan, Rizwan said he is excited and mentally ready to accept the challenge. “Look, even when you play cricket in a club, you fully prepare for it. So, it’s the World Cup, now the preparations will be at a high level, ”he said.
