Sharjeel’s fiery century propels Sindh to 196/7 against South Punjab

Lahore: Left-hander Sharjeel Khan broke the T20 fourth hundred to lead Sindh to 196/7 against South Punjab in match 24 of the T20 National Cup.

The southpaw scored 101 of 56 balls, RBIs by 13 fours and four sixes. The other notable hitter was Saud Shakeel, scoring 26 of 19 balls.

Sindh captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, who was named to the T20 World Cup squad today, only scored 13 out of 12. Anwar Ali played 17 cameos in the backend.

All bowlers in South Punjab made more than eight runs over the top. Naseem Shah and Mohammad Imran took two windows each while Captain Aamer Yamin and Zia-ul-Haq each bagged one window.
