Shooting Improvements, Practices, Seasonal Goals

CHARLOTTE, NC — Caleb Love says he returned to North Carolina for his sophomore season with an improved shot, a new mindset, and a full season of experience, all he expects to help him jump that freshman to sophomore in performance and play.

Love, together with junior big man Armando Bacota, represented the Tar Heels at the media day of the 2021-2022 conference, officially called the ACC Tipoff, which was held Tuesday at Charlotte’s Marriott City Center. Love held court during the breakout session, answering questions about Carolina basketball under the new head coach Hubert Davis, his improved game, his training schedule, the impact of the Tar Heels’ transfers, his season goals and more.

North Carolina will host Late Night N’ HD at the Smith Center on Friday, October 15, and an exhibition game against Elizabeth City State on Friday, November 5. UNC opens the 2021-22 season vs. Loyola (Md.) on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
