SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. The New Day

Two of the most decorated tag teams in history will once again hit WWE gold down the line when The New Day takes on The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship on WWE Day 1.

The Usos are in the midst of their fifth reign of the SmackDown tag team title, a mark second only to The New Day, who have held the titles seven times.

Bloodline has had a fierce grip on tag team titles since defeating Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WWE Money in the Bank, crushing the competition and eliminating potential threats like Kofi Kingston. Along with Roman Reigns, The Usos used their top numbers to hit King Woods and Kingston, forcing King Woods to watch as they hit Kingston’s legs.

Since that brutal attack, King Woods has faced The Bloodline alone, attempting to eliminate them one by one to no avail. With “The Hand of the King” now back at their side, the duo look to hit The Usos where it hurts most, taking their tag team titles.

Will Jimmy and Jey still be “The Ones” or can The New Day deal a major blow to the dominant bloodline?

Tune in as another chapter is written in the historic rivalry between The New Day and The Usos on WWE Day 1 on Saturday, January 1, 2022, broadcast live at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT exclusively on Peacock in the USA. And in WWE. Red anywhere else.
