That’s half the space on your Xbox Series S.
Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl takes up 180 GB on your Xbox console.
As seen by The Gamer, the description of the game in the Xbox Store has recently been updated to include the “approximate” 180 GB of storage space on Xbox consoles.
If true – and it’s always possible that the download size will be optimized and shaved closer to launch – that means the Stalker 2 will take up half the available space on Microsoft’s compact system, the Xbox Series S.
It also weighs in on a large size PC, too; there you need about 150 GB to get the game installed.
Stalker 2 is scheduled for release on April 28, 2022 on Xbox Series X and S and PC, but not Xbox One. However, it will be available on PC and current generation systems via Xbox Game Pass. However, as it is described as “coming first” for the Xbox, we expect it to be released on PlayStation 5 at some point later.
ICYMI, the Stalker 2 developers use a custom ignition tool to make each character’s smile unique.
“Literally every human in Stalker 2 has a unique smile – or laugh, I suppose,” GSC Game Worlds Zakhar Bocharov explained at the time.
