News that Tristan had fathered a third child with Maralee struck earlier this month amid reports that he was being charged with child support.

Tristan has reportedly admitted to having an affair with Maralee between December 2020 and ending around his 30th birthday – when Khloé Kardashian made their reunion public and the baby was reportedly conceived.

“In the past few weeks, there have been a lot of inaccurate and false stories about me,” Maralee told E! News. “I’m making this statement because I feel I have to defend my character.”

“There have been multiple fake Instagram posts claiming to be me, making false statements and attaching stock photos of an ultrasound and a child (neither of mine),” she continued.

“Here’s the facts: I’ve lived in California since 2019. I’m not a personal trainer. I haven’t worked as a personal trainer for four years; I do fitness modeling. I was never a personal trainer before Tristan.”

Maralee then said she met Tristan at a party at his house: “He told me he was single and co-parenting. I would never have started Tristan if I thought he was in a relationship.”

“Tristan told me he wasn’t having a sexual relationship with anyone else; it wasn’t casual sex and we didn’t have a date. Tristan and I communicated daily and spoke on the phone. We would see each other several times a month,” Maralee added, according to People.

“I did not apply for child support before our child was born… I was induced on November 29, 2021 because I had a placental abnormality,” she continued. “I gave birth on December 1, 2021. Instead of focusing on any negativity, I choose to be a mother and do my best for my son.”

“I don’t want any more media attention or a romantic relationship with Tristan. My goal is to raise our son in a safe, healthy, loving and private environment.”

Maralee is currently working on a California paternity case. Tristan’s parallel lawsuit in Texas has been dismissed.
