There’s a mystery on the way and we need the help of our best detectives: The Game Informer Community!
Snorlax is known for snoozing wherever it wants, and usually blocks the paths that future coaches have to cross to continue their journey. Enticing a Snorlax to wake up and get out of the way is not easy and usually requires the melody from a special whistle to cope with the heavy lifting. However, this situation looks a bit different than your usual overnight stay. It may be dangerous, harmless or even harmless, but it’s up to you, dear reader!
We would love to hear what you think is happening in the picture above involving the fainted Snorlax on the train tracks with Yamper and Machamp around the giant. Give us your best story in the comments!
You can work with the image above to build your description of what is happening in tarnation. Below you can see three more angles on the stage, which provides more context, but asks even more questions such as:
Does Machamp think he can stop a train with just a sign?
Is Snorlax the real Santa Claus?
If not, whose gifts are it then?
Did Yamper take a Snidely Whiplash and tie Snorlax to the tracks?
Why has Machamp imprinted his massive mitts on the dormant giant?
If you are interested in owning this figure, it is called the Delibird Holiday Express Snorlax Pass figure, one of many new holiday-themed items in the Pokémon Center online store. Two other characters complement the Snorlax Pass piece, but please do not use them as part of your narrative in the comments. It’s far more fun to hear what creative ideas you come up with!
We’re less than three weeks away from the release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. If you have not done so yet, check out our preview of the remakes here. And if you’ve into podcasts, check out Brian Shea’s new weekly show, All Things Nintendo!
