The Cricket Australia boss talks about the Pakistan trip

Nick Hockley – Cricket Australia

Cricket Australia (CA) CEO Nick Hockley on Sunday spoke of Australia’s tour of Pakistan in 2022, calling it a “major complex endeavor.” However, he said the board is working “with all stakeholders to make the trip possible.”

As reported by Cricket Pakistan, Hockley said: “We just had a team take over for Pakistan to do a recce.”

“We are working closely with the PCB and working with all authorities to ensure that these plans are established. It is a really big complex endeavor. We are very committed to touring,” he added.

He went on to say that since it will be “the first time in many, many years” that his team is going on tour in Pakistan, the board is currently reviewing the mail reports about it.

“But it is definitely our intention to tour as long as it is safe to do so.”

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on November 8 details of Australia’s first tour of Pakistan since 1998, which will take place in March and April 2022 and includes three tests, three ODIs and a T20I.
