Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep gets a standalone “one-shot” version

That Border areas DLC gets one Wonderland single

Little Tina’s attack on Dragon Keep is one of, if not the most, well-remembered DLC additions in Border areas series. It was popular enough that Gearbox is currently working on a full spiritual sequel, and today, Little Tina’s attack on Dragon Keep also gets a standalone version.

2K and Gearbox announced today that a standalone was calling Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure comes to PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC via Steam and Epic. And it is also available today.

As part of the launch, Attack on Dragon Keep is free in the Epic Games Store until November 16, ie approximately next week. Otherwise, it costs $ 9.99 on the other storefronts.

Even as one with a hot and cold relationship Border areas franchise, Little Tina’s attack on Dragon Keep is a standout for me. It was impressive back in 2013 when it arrived as DLC for Borderlands 2. Not just for its sake Dungeons & Dragons refers, mind you, but for how it tackled one of the great historical developments in Borderlands 2, and how it affected its grades. Borderlands 2 in particular, a high tone struck me with how it tackled some harder material and I liked Dragon Keep for how it kept the consistent line going.

That said, it’s also a whole DLC with Tiny Tina. For some people, it’s a deal-breaker. But hey, if you would give it a try and see if Border areas meetings D&D works for you, this is probably the best option to do so. Plus, it now ends up acting as a precursor to the future Little Tina’s Wonderland. If you want to know how it all fits together, and learn a little Border areas history of the process, seems like a good opportunity to do so.
