2021-12-29 05:45:42 GMT+00:00 – (Reuters) – Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady admitted Monday he had been told by the NFL that he threw a damaging Microsoft tablet on the sidelines during a shutout loss to the New Orleans Saints.

The Saints defeated the Bucs 9-0 on December 19, the first time since 2006 that a Brady-led attack was ruled out.

Worse for Brady, his tablet-breaking scene aired during a nationally televised contest.

“I did get a warning from the NFL about that,” Brady said in his SiriusXM podcast Monday. “I can’t throw another Surface or I’ll be fined. Imagine!”

Brady responded to his frustrations with the Carolina Panthers last week and led Tampa Bay to a 32-6 win on Sunday. The defending Super Bowl champions took the NFC South title.
