The Red Sox had the most unfortunate tweet before Chris Sale gave up a grand slam
Trea Turner praising Dodgers fans is definitely a slight on the Nats.
It’s no secret that Los Angeles Dodgers fans roll deep. They’ve shown their devotion to the team time and time again, and it’s something Dodgers shortstop Trea Turner is just getting used to.
Before the Dodgers’ postseason appearance against the San Francisco Giants, Turner noted how surprised he was to see so many Dodgers fans traveling and it is a veiled insult to the Nationals.
“The Washington fans are great,” Turner said. “I had a great time there, I loved it there, but going on tour and hearing a pretty decent part of the crowd cheer us on a little weird. I had a little lapse before when we played the Cardinals. I thought the left fielder caught the ball because the fans made a loud noise and almost ran off the field, but it was the Dodgers fans cheering me on because I had double ground. “
Tre Turner thinks it’s strange how many Dodgers fans travel to away games
Turner was traded to the Dodgers alongside Max Scherzer in July and has been a whirlwind ever since.
