WWE News: Ridge Holland updates on nose injury

WWE SmackDown Superstar Ridge Holland has provided an update on his condition following a nose injury he sustained on Day 1.

At the event, he teamed with Sheamus to face Ricochet and Cesaro in a tag team match during the pre-show. In the fight, Holland took a knee from Ricochet which caused severe damage to his nose and he was unable to continue the fight.

Ridge then posted a graphic image on Twitter showing his nose bleeding with the caption “Damn!”

In a recent edition of The WWE Brunch, Ridge Holland claimed that he underwent surgery and had his nose repaired. Now he is waiting for it to heal completely.

“I feel good. I took a little bump thanks to Ricochet, but the surgery went very well, the nose is fixed. I’m just waiting for it to fully heal now, so we’re good. We’re good.” Holland said.

Holland added that when he returns, he has the option of wearing a nose guard like Sheamus did.

“Yes, the option is ruled out [to use a mask]. I think I’m going to need some protection when I get in the ring for the first time, so I might have to, you know, borrow something from him. [Sheamus], you know?” he added. (H/T POST Wrestling)
